It is said to be a brand from a sake brewery in Sakata City.
Strong oaky aroma at the top and quite sweet on the palate.
Since I was drinking it without a meal, it was a bit sweet on its own, and to be honest, it didn't go down well with me...
It is a sake with a meal (western food) 🍶.
I am amazed that rice can give this flavor 😳.
It is aged in wine barrels, so you can taste the peculiar flavor of red wine 🍷.
The taste is very intense and the sake level is -23 degrees, but thanks to the strong acidity, it is not sweet like a juice, but has a sharp taste 😊.
It would go well with a dark meal 🍖🍛.
It was delicious.
It costs 3,000 yen for 500ml, but I would recommend this new type of sake 💸.
At a sake bar in Yamagata. The last time I drank it, I had a strong impression that it was a Brazilian sake, so I ordered it to check again. I could taste more ginger flavor than the last time I drank it. The Brazilian impression seems to have faded. The moderate sweetness was pleasant on the palate, and the herbal aroma made it easy to drink and a delicious sake.
Aged in wine barrels. The flavor of the barrels gives it an old wine-like taste, and the sweet flavor and sour feeling are well balanced. It was also fresh with a slight smokiness.
At YAKINIKU MARUUSHI in Ginza.
Rice is "Tsuyahime" from Yamagata Prefecture.
Hops are French hops (Aramis, Strisselspalt, Mistral).
The aroma of hops is very strong even when you are far away from the brewery.
The fizziness is light.
The hops are strong, but there is a bitterness.
