It has been a long time since I made a traditional yeast mash. You can feel the solid taste.
Junmai-shu with a heavy taste. Good as a midday sake!
It is served cold.
First cloudy sake in a long time, honestly exceptional. The flavor is instant, and the finish is smooth as hell. Really hoping to have it again. Tess might not hate it.
Solid all around sake. Reasonably dry so you can pair it with food or enjoy it on its own. A bottle was about $20 in NYC and I think that’s an excellent value for the quality.
I bought it at Mitsuwa marketplace in Chicago. I forgot the price. The color is very light yellow. It smells sweet and grainy. It has a cool feeling like an apple. You can feel the sweetness in the mouth, and the round sourness follows soon. The moderate richness is not too light and can be enjoyed with meals. It has been a while since I drank sake, but I am satisfied.
