Kumamoto brewed alcohol sake. A little strong in habit. Little aroma. The feeling that spreads in the mouth at the beginning of drinking is a little peculiar.
This smells almost like a white wine. There's white grape, unripe pear, and almost something like cedar? Like a taru sake. It reminds me of champagne on the nose. Maybe a hint of nuts.
Palate is a good balance of bold, tangy acidity and deep umami. It does not feel heavy though, and the acid and umami help to keep this quite dry and refreshing (served chilled). Apple, caramel, chestnuts, and perhaps something like cinnamon.
Finish is dry, but lingers with umami and nutty notes.

This is my first time drinking Kumamoto sake, and it is a surprisingly elegant sake. It is easy to drink, but has a strong, yet not cloying, aftertaste. It is easy to drink and enjoyable.
