I went there with my sisters for lunch because there was a soba restaurant that my sister was interested in.
I wasn't planning to drink, but the soba mae looked so good that I ended up ordering some local sake.
It was delicious~!
A toast with Kumamoto sake at my parents' house in memory of my father.
Around my father who can only drink shochu, my daughters who can only drink sake.
It was the first time for me to drink Chiyono-en, but it was delicious.
☆☆☆☆ / Cold sake
It has a moderate spiciness, a sake-like quality, and a good throat feel.
It has the image of a standard sake that is easy to pair with meals.
Kumamoto's local sake, Sanzanmura
Slightly sweet ginjo aroma
A light, sweet mouthfeel with a soft acidity.
Like drinking fresh green apple juice
I drank too much and my memory is fuzzy
I'm not even sure of the notes I wrote at the time😅.
Anyway, it's delicious!
Sake brewed with sake rice grown by a pesticide-free method called "Koi Farming" in Sanzan Village!
Using the carp farming method, carp are released into the rice paddies 🌾🌾 to get rid of pests.
A few years ago, I drank Manbo from Kumamoto Kameman Shuzo, which was a sake made using the duck farming method🦆!
There are many people in Kumamoto who practice natural farming methods 🫶.
Year-end party at work.
We have it at a hotel every year so I can't enjoy the drinks or the food😅.
The only sake degree was this Chiyonen, so I drank it anyway.
It was neither good nor bad 😂.
It was a normal sake.
The hotel banquet fee was 1.5 times more than before Corona, and the food was 80% of the amount 😭.
I could drink anything at RIKI for this amount of money 🤣.
Good morning, TOMO-san!
I know it's getting expensive 😭I can see why you say you can drink 〰.
I expect this won't be the end of it and look forward to your drinking review 😊.
Souvenirs from a trip to Kumamoto
Seemingly recommended by a liquor store
Aroma of sour lactic acid drink
Sourness, sweetness, a little astringency, sourness
Sourness → sweetness → a little astringency → sourness
The rice flavor and richness is washed away by the astringency and sourness.
A little melon-like taste in the latter half.
I was surprised that there is a raw nigori sake in autumn.
It was delicious.
The sake I received from TOMO's petit offline in a few months. Thanks for the weight 😊.
I have never heard of Chiyono-en Sake Brewery. It's The Local Sake of Kumamoto. I looked it up on the internet and it seems to be an interesting brewery that makes sake that goes well with cocoa cigarettes.
This one was a kijoshu. It has a strong sweetness and acidity. I heated up half of it because I have a grandfather for sourness. Naturally, the sweetness increased and the acidity decreased.
The second season of the M-League is in its final stages. The catch-up from the bottom is amazing. The voices calling out and expectations are also amazing.
The star of the show will show up late, so they want us to stay calm and wait.
Yesterday was a disaster after that 😭.
I was so worried and worried and worried and worried and shaking my head a lot. I wonder if last week was a dream.
Hello, Nochi-san! I'm so glad to see you here 😄
I thought Chiyoen was a standard in Kumamoto? 🤔 but the Kijoshu is very rare... Like Choroki, I'll catch up soon, so wait for me... ❤️
Manachie-san Good evening. It seems to be a famous brewery of red sake in Kumamoto. I'm curious about the cocoa cigarettes, so if I lose at mahjong, I'll make a dedication sake.
Hello Ane-san, Mahjong is like that. If you keep licking the taste of honey, you will get tired of it, so let's take it easy while winning and losing! I'll be waiting for your drink.
Hello TOMO Thank you for the sake. It was delicious and enjoyable. I had heard of red sake. But I didn't remember the brewery. I hope to see you again when I come to Tokyo!
Japanese Sake Fest @ Osaka Bay Tower (・ω・`)
There is a very good flavor on it, but it also has a light sourness and freshness
According to the pamphlet, it is suitable for yakitori and oden.
I felt it would be suitable for the autumn taste!
Rice used is unknown
We do not know the concept, but it seems to be a "cat series" and there are others like "Wind and Cats".
Although low-alcoholic, it is not light and has a deep flavor.
It was fruity, well-balanced and delicious sake. ❗️
We had a drink with Tomo-san who came to Tokyo on a business trip.
We drank a lot of things, but aside from the review, we opened a bottle of this one that we got as a souvenir to accompany our happy memories! I opened a bottle of this one!
The "Chiyono-en" is the brewery of "Kikuchi-gawa" which I enjoyed when I drank it in Kumamoto.
On the first day of opening the bottle, I had the impression that it was a very strong and robust man's sake, but after a night's rest, the aroma was already fruity.
The aroma is already fruity 😳.
The balance between the umami and the bitterness is great! 😆👍👍
How can the taste change so much in just one night? It grew so well 😋😋.
tomo! Thanks for the Kumamoto sake! 🙇♂️
Good evening, MAJ😄.
Thank you for your help in Tokyo: 🙇♂
For a pretty label, the first day was a solid one 🤔I haven't read it yet even though I gave it to you as a souvenir 😅...
Good evening, TOMO! I'm so glad to see you here 😄.
It was fun to drink after a long time 🤩🤩I also recommend "Kikuchigawa" from the same brewery 😋😋I drank it at Negibozu 😆👍.
Hi MAJ, good evening 🌙
I saw this sake at the brewery festival but it was strong so I didn't buy it 💦I didn't know it changed that much 😳It's great that it was laid down and it's good to drink it slowly at home😊👍
Good evening, Pon! I'm so glad to see you here 😄.
I don't know how it tastes when it's tasted. After all, drinking at home in a four-pack is the best 😆👍
The 11th brewery in the "Hankyu Brewery Festival 2023".
Chiyozonoen", Chiyozonoen Shuzo, Kumamoto Prefecture
Chiyozonoen Brewery was also at the Japanese Sake Festival, so I was going to drink "Taido" which I didn't remember from the Hebereke, but they didn't bring it 🤣.
I wanted to try their specialty red sake first and forgot to ask them if I should drink this 😅.
Around here, I'm very drunk 😱.
Higo's specialty red sake
Junmai Daiginjo with Stars and Cats
Hoshi to Neko Junmai Daiginjo
Junmai Ginjo Kumamoto Shinriki
Chiyono-en Excel
Higo Tokusan Aka-shu is a local specialty made using traditional methods, and tastes sweet and somewhat like Mirin.
Hoshi, Cat, and Junmai Daiginjo" is a sake made in the image of Tera, a stray cat who became the signature cat. The label is cute and the sake is delicious.
The "Kono Kuni Sake" is made from rice that is not part of Morikuma-san's rice crop. It is a good value for money, and is a pure rice sake with a 78% polishing ratio.
Junmai Ginjo Kumamoto Jinryoku" has a slightly bitter taste.
Chiyodaien Excel" is my favorite, a refined sake that has been aged in the bottle. It has a nice mouthfeel and does not have much of an aged feel. The price is also very reasonable.
Nemuchi, good evening 😃.
I wish you could have brought Taido 🥺.
I'm aiming to drink Taido by the end of the year since it seems to be in stock at liquor stores at the end of the year 😁.
Good evening, Nemuchi-san😄!
The brewer talked quite passionately about the meaning of the cork bottle and the aging process, so I think it might be Excel or Junmai Daiginjo Shuubai for drinking this 😊 He also seemed happy to talk about his lost cat, so maybe that one 🤔.
bouken-san, good evening 🌛I drank Taido once but I couldn't remember the taste because I was a hebereke 😅I wanted to have a revenge 😅The Taido dealer is in Kobe, so I guess I achieved my goal within this year 👍.
Aladdin, good evening 🌛I remember you were talking about corks...I don't remember 😅Terare is a cat, right? I asked her if she was talking about a stray cat 🐱I felt like I had done enough, so my memory is a little fuzzy around here 🤣.
Nemuchi, sorry to bother you so often 🥂.
I was surprised to see your review of Chiyozonoen's akashu 😅 since Zuitaka's akashu is the major one in my hometown.
I have the impression that Taido, including the seasonal sake, is beautiful with a strong gin flavor 😋.
Good evening, Mr. Chidori, 🌛I see that there are various types of red sake depending on the brewery 🤔I have not seen Zuitaka yet, I thought Chiyonen was the most common 😅I will try Taido again, but I would like to try Zuitaka too 😋.
