Purchased at a liquor store in Akama
The ear of rice stuck on the bottle is impressive
(just after opening).
Drink chilled
Slightly yellow in color
The aroma is similar to that of a matured sake.
The taste in the mouth is full and rich, as if it has been aged.
Warmed to lukewarm
The aroma does not change much, but the taste becomes sharper.
Heat sake to hot.
The richness of the aroma is broadened and it tastes the best.
(3 days after opening the bottle)
Drink cold
The chilled sake goes down the throat better, and the slightly peculiar richness is moderately tasty.
Slightly bitter aftertaste
Cold sake is as good as hot sake
It does not feel like it goes well with nabe with nori tsukudani (seaweed tsukudani), so it is difficult to find a good accompaniment.
(6 days after opening the bottle)
It goes better with strong-flavored snacks such as garlic chicken tataki and pork hormone than with sashimi.
Popular liquor recommended at the liquor store across the street from my kid's school that I was curious about.
20% Yamada Nishiki, 80% Gohyakumangoku
It doesn't have much of an aroma, but you can taste the rice and drink it easily.
I'm glad I went there!
