Another bottle of sake prepared by a friend. I haven't tasted the reputable Machida Shuzo brand yet, but I'm familiar with the Seiriku brand and used to drink it often. I live close to the brewery, after all.
Freshly squeezed, new sake. It's a smooth drink that doesn't feel like it has 18 degrees of alcohol. It is fresh and has a melon like flavor. It's like a beautiful raw sake, but it doesn't have much character, is it an honor student? No, it's delicious.
I bought a bottle of Machida Shuzo's Seiryo, a highly rated local sake from Gunma.
The results were subtle. It's not that it's not good, but I don't want to buy it again.
I often don't like the sake that represents the store.
I give it a 2.8 rating.
I don't think I'll be buying this one in the future...
