のりたまAfter much hesitation, I decided to try Danzan, a sake from Nara that I had never had before.
It has a strong umami flavor, but the aftertaste is dry and crisp. It is a deeply delicious sake.
The description, which seems to have been written by the store owner, is also accurate. It goes well with sashimi and other dishes. のりたまWhile visiting Nara to see the cherry blossoms, we went to a store that has a wide selection of Nara's local sake. As the description says, it has muscat aroma, umami, acidity, a little bitterness, and a fizzy feeling. Delicious. しーちゃんIt is a beautiful amber color and has a matured look. It is said to have been aged in wine barrels. It tasted like brandy, and I was impressed that such a flavor could be produced from rice. (I don't know much about the taste of brandy, though.)
On Sunday, I went to "Sake Nara Sake Final. At the store, I always want to drink sake that I don't buy. Among the many I had, I was particularly impressed, so I'll record them here. はにわSlightly acidic with a clean aftertaste はにわSlightly peculiar aftertaste. KPRating [A].
It is unusually sweet for Tatenogawa. The sake is brewed with a variety of rice called "Sobei Haya". It has a light acidity in the aroma, but the taste is a bit nukey even though it's polished to 50%. Classic rice? It's interesting and unique! Interesting and unique!
