There was a Yamaguchi Prefecture antenna store open for a limited time at Hankyu Umeda Station, and I bought some sake from the Yachiyo Sake Brewery that I had never seen before.
I've seen Laplace Yachiyo and others on SNS, but I've never had a chance to meet them if I live in the Kansai region.
The KABA label probably comes from the brewer's surname, Kaba-san?
It has a sour taste like pickled plums. It is quite unique. It is like a more reserved version of Mai-bijin.
It has a moderate sweetness and is not as spicy as the other day's Chikuma-Nishiki, but it is easier to drink than the other day's Chikuma-Nishiki.
The aftertaste, or rather the lingering aftertaste, is quite ale-like.
It also smells a little like pickles.
I think it's just a little bit peculiar 😁.
