The Abekan Sake Brewery in Shiogama, which boasts the largest catch of tuna, created this sake as a food sake to go with bigeye tuna.
Despite this, they made the great mistake of doing it with pickles and pickled plums.
The well-balanced mouthfeel of the sake gives the impression that it can afford to be matched with anything.
I will try not to be rude next time.
Nekogeisha Junmai
I was drawn to this sake by the label because I wanted to try a variety of sake. As the bright color suggests, it has a full-bodied mouthfeel. I would like to drink it with strong flavored mackerel simmered in miso.
