At the end of August, my family and I went sightseeing in Izushi, Hyogo.
I visited a sake brewery there.
This is my first brand!
At room temperature
Aroma of apricot curd, white bean dumplings, and minerality
Gentle mouthfeel
Mild sweetness and mild astringency
Slightly dry with a slightly short aftertaste
Second bottle of Rakurakutsuru.
It is a brewed sake with a very high degree of alcohol (19-20 💦).
I bought a small bottle because I wasn't sure, but I might as well have bought a big one.
The regular size was a square bottle, which is an unusual shape for sake.
I think it is best to drink it on the rocks, but you can also drink it straight, but I'm afraid of the aftertaste 😁.
There are similar types of sake such as ice breaker, but I think it has a clear taste in comparison.
I recommend it for summer👍
Went out to eat Izushi soba with my family👍.
After dinner, we stopped by a nearby sake brewery.
I often visit Izushi, but this was my first time to visit this brewery.
I think this is probably the only junmai I've ever had.
I recommend this sake at room temperature👍.
Cold sake has an overly pronounced acidity, but it can be drunk neatly.
At room temperature, the sweetness is more easily felt and the overall balance is better.
In addition, I drank it hot and felt the spiciness strongly, but it was very smooth.
You can enjoy the change in taste with the change in temperature 😁.
Sake from a Sake Brewery in the Castle Town of Izushi
With Izushi's Sara Soba
Does not disturb the aroma of soba
Gentle sweetness and a sense of refreshment
Left photo. Reads "Sasazuru." Smooth apricot sweetness, bitterness, and rice sourness. The dryness is moderate. The set of sake comparison was surprisingly full of straight-forward and delicious sake.
HYOGO SAKE EXPO 2024③.
Rakuraku zuru? Tano-no-zuru?
No, it's Sasazuru 😁.
Izushi Sake Brewery's 200 year old red clay warehouse still exists.
Even more acidic than Sennenichi. Overall, it is refreshing.
I thought it would be extremely spicy, but it is quite easy to drink.
Of the B set, Nada Ichi is my favorite.
I heard later that this brewery doesn't make it anymore and that it might contain sake from a famous brewery in the Tajima area 🤔. 🤔.
It's ok if it tastes good even if they don't brew it themselves 😋.
I was also interested in the King Brewery Inami that koge2 and Wakata-san were drinking, but I decided to skip it this time because it's available at Yamaya and I don't need to drink it now!
Good evening, bouken 🦉.
Tanotonozuru🤣That's a little too unexpected...
But still, it's hard to read💦I can't read it as "sasazuru"😳
I want to drink with Izushi's Sara-soba 😋.
