I drank it at a ryokan in Nishi-Izu.
It was light, refreshing, and dry, and did not interfere with the meal at all.
It was a perfect complement to the meal.
My first impression is that it is a bit thin.
I guess it is for sightseeing.
It is not habitual and does not leave any aftertaste, so you can drink it with anything at any time.
Purchased on a trip to Izu because I was curious about the shape of the bottle, which I don't see very often. ♨️
The 300 ml bottle is an easy size to buy and take home.
Rice polishing ratio: 65
Alcohol content: 15
Slightly colored, with a sour taste and aroma of rice spreading on the palate. It has no sweetness and is tangy and spicy.
It is not sweet, but rather tangy and dry,
I prefer to drink it warmed 🫣.
It was a great match with soba noodles 😸.
It's so clear!
It's perfect with something sweet!
But I could drink it because it's all I have!
It's quite salty when paired with abalone, so it's perfect!
I bought a bottle when I was in Shizuoka and it was sitting in the fridge, so I opened it up (^^).
I didn't expect much from a cheap sake, but it had a good flavor and a good sharpness, and the small bottle is perfect for a minimalist one-person evening drink!
Along with the mellowness you feel at first sip, it creates a taste that is typical of Japanese sake. It's a pleasure to taste the lineup in the tai meshi bento as an appetizer. It's a good feeling.
