Takasaki's chicken rice lunch box and Mt. Haruna
The spiciness coming to the back of the throat is a nice sensation. But overall, it is easy to drink although the taste is strong. It goes well with chicken rice as well.

The umami is as good as the robust flavor of the famous Touge no Kamameshi (rice cooked in a pot)

Souvenir from Okan who was in Kusatsu Onsen this month🍶.
No way, it was a Gunma-chan label from Harunasan.
I bought myself a cup of Harunayama Gunma-chan on my trip to Kanto in August, so it seems that father and son have the same criteria for choice 😅.
I feel like I say this a lot, but label design is important ✨.
The aroma is mild.
It is sweet with little bitterness or sourness, still easy to drink 😊.

Mt. Haruna in Kura, famous for its large sake cups and macho. It is the sacred place of Initial D.
So I drank it up as fast as I could, making full use of cornering with the gutter. It was quirky and in a way, uncharacteristic. Fujiwara Tofu Store feels like they use good water.
I cheered for the preliminary round of the Hakone Ekiden in Tachikawa. The speed of the foreign athletes scared me. I was itching to go for a trek on Mt. Takao when I saw them running. Takao, but I couldn't run, so I walked up the mountain. I didn't use the monorail, just in case. It is crowded on weekends and it is hard to walk.

Mt. Haruna in a cup of sake. Harunasan, a model of Mt. Akina that the tofu shop's Hachiroku runs through. The label also looks like a local sake. I have fond memories of visiting Harunayama with my wife many years ago before we were married.
It has a strong alcoholic aroma, which is typical of honjozo sake. This is a royal roadside honjozo sake that is easy to enjoy and has no peculiarities. Oh my, this is a good sake. I've only had Gunma Izumi sake in Gunma, but this is really good. I guess the main sake is called "Ohai" (大盃). I'll keep that in mind.
