Sake received on New Year's Day. Oki Honor's Kami-Sen with gold leaf.
It is a dry sake.
Our stock of sake is about to be depleted. I am pondering what to replenish it with. A bottle of sake left at room temperature or a four-bottle bottle that needs to be refrigerated?

A gift, aged sake, 2005 year.
The amber color is amazing.
Tastes more like Shaoxing sake than sake? Brandy?
It looks delicious when mixed with carbonated water.
It was a precious experience.
Purchased on a trip to Nishinoshima in the Oki Islands in September. Dry with a nice sharp taste. Enjoy the straightforward flavor without the need to think about anything difficult.
Oki Shuzo: Oki Honor Josen Oki no Shima, warmed to lukewarm.
We drank it at a tavern in Yonago City, Tottori Prefecture, and liked it, so we bought it at a local supermarket in Shimane Prefecture.
We bought it at a local supermarket in Shimane Prefecture.
It is lukewarm and dry. It's perfect for a nightcap.
I have to admit that I was surprised and fell flat on my back when I took a sip!
I didn't know there was such a delicious sake. ......
It's on my list of great sake that I would recommend to others without saying a word!
I'm glad I came across it 🙏 If I ever get to Shimane, I'd love to visit the sake brewery in person!
One cup of Oki Honor, which I drank last night.
I don't remember the details of the taste, but it was a good sake that was more pleasant to drink than expected and usually goes down well.
I saw this Oki Honor one-cup at Kuze Fuku Shoten yesterday, and it has five different designs, all of which are associated with the Oki Islands.
I think it was last year.
I think it was the same one-cup that appeared on Haruei Chichi's drinking trip last year.
The design I chose was that of a bullfighting bull on Oki Island.
I put it side by side with a Yamakoshi cup from "Ofuku Masamune" in Nagaoka, Niigata Prefecture.
Bullfights in Niigata Prefecture are called "bullfights" and are held in Nagaoka City (formerly Yamakoshi Village) and Ojiya City.
I think the other places in Japan where bullfights are held are Kuji City (former Yamagata Village) in Iwate Prefecture, Uwajima City in Ehime Prefecture, Tokunoshima Island in Kagoshima Prefecture, and Okinawa.
Good evening, Haruei Chichi 🌇.
This sounds like another good drink to have on the train 🚃.
I look forward to seeing another post about your drinking journey 😊.
