Polished 65
I stopped by the brewery on a trip to Ise-Shima and bought it.
The flavor of the rice is mellow, and the alcohol goes through the nose and leaves a lingering aftertaste.
It is delicious!
Type junmai, polishing rate 65%, alcohol content 15%
Today I am drinking it at room temperature. Aroma is moderate of rice and yogurt. Flavor is thick and dry. I can taste a lot of rice, a lot of umami. There is very little sweetness or acidity. The sake is named after fountain like well. It is supposed to be drunk warm so I drink it warm next time.
Bought this at Zavic near Aqua Ignis in Mie!
It's smooth and easy to drink but has a crispness to it as it goes down your throat.
It wasn't quite banana ......, but it was just slightly sweet and not too sweet!
I'd like to battle it out next time with Hourai, which is the number one sake feeling at the moment.
This is a local sake that was recommended to me when I traveled to Mie.
It's an interesting sake that changes its taste depending on the temperature.
Personally, I think it tastes better when chilled.
