Hokkaido sake is becoming more and more visible these days. Is it due to global warming? But that aside, here are my impressions of the sake. The aroma is very fruity. It tastes like a pear with a hint of strawberry acidity. The taste is very sweet and fresh. It has a bit of astringency and bitterness. It is like a sweet white wine. It seems to rely a bit on sweetness.
