静かな木曜の夜、冷え込む外気の中で味わう一本。香りは控えめに花と白い果実。口当たりは柔らかく、メロンやぶどう、ほんのりバナナ。滑らかな質感に、ごく淡いキャラメルの余韻。上品で穏やかな純米大吟醸。 Cold Thursday night with an old film playing in the background. Gentle nose of flowers and white fruits. Soft, smooth palate with melon, grape, a hint of banana and a faint caramel note. Elegant, quiet Junmai Daiginjo.

炊いたお米の控えめな香り。口に含むと穏やかな旨味とすっきり素直な味わい。後味は短めですが、ほんのり温かさが残ります。今回のシリーズ最後の一本として、全体の印象を改めて確認するような一本。派手さはないものの、素直で静かな心地よさがあります。 Quiet aroma of steamed rice, very restrained. On the palate, gentle umami and a clean, simple profile. The finish is short, followed by a soft alcoholic warmth. As the last one of this little series, it confirms the overall impression: modest, straightforward, nothing showy - but quietly pleasant in its own way.

穏やかな米の香りに、ほのかな花と梅のニュアンス。やわらかな甘みと軽い酸味、はっきりしたアルコール感があり、シンプルな大吟醸としては余韻が少し長め。口に含むと表情がふっと変わる、どこか“裏側”から届いたような一杯。 Clean rice aroma with soft florals and a hint of plum. Gentle sweetness, light acidity and clear alcohol warmth, with a finish longer than expected for a simple daiginjō. A quiet little twist on the palate—almost like it came straight from the Upside Down.

今日は神保町を少し歩いて、気になっていた日本酒の本を何冊か手に入れて帰宅。 夜に「THE SHOT 純米吟醸」を開栓。 香りは炊いた米と白い果実（メロン・白ぶどう）。少しとろみのある印象。味わいもフルーティーで、ほのかにホワイトチョコのような甘さ。ややアルコールの主張あり。余韻は中〜短め。気軽に楽しめる一本。 Picked up a few sake books in Jimbocho this afternoon and opened this “THE SHOT Junmai Ginjo” in the evening. Aromas of steamed rice and white fruits (melon, white grape). Slightly viscous texture. Fruity palate with a touch of white chocolate and a bit of alcohol warmth. Medium-short finish. Simple and easy to enjoy.

秋の日差しがまだ暖かく感じられる夕方に一杯。香りは炊いたお米が中心で控えめ。口に含むと一気に表情が出て、少し煮た果実やほのかな紫の花のニュアンス。後味は短めだが、白チョコのような甘い余韻とわずかなアルコール感。全体として気取らず、わりと心地よく飲める一本。 Tasted at the end of a warm, sunny autumn day. The nose is rice-led and restrained. On the palate it opens up with cooked-fruit notes and a light violet hint. Short finish, with a touch of white-chocolate sweetness and a bit of alcohol heat. Overall, unpretentious and pleasantly easy to drink.

大阪・関西万博デザインの月桂冠「WORLD SAKE」。 よく冷やすとすっきり心地よい、シンプルで気取らない普通酒（普通酒＝futsū-shu）。炊いたお米に、ほのかなメロンのニュアンス。軽快で飲みやすい一杯でした。 Gekkeikan “WORLD SAKE”, with the Expo 2025 design. When well-chilled, it’s a fresh, clean, and unpretentious futsū-shu — simple, easy, and pleasant. Gentle steamed-rice notes with a hint of pale melon. Light, straightforward, and very drinkable.

昨日飲んだ一本の姉妹版。今夜の寒さの中で開けました。ほのかにフルーティーでフローラルな香り、やさしい炊いたお米のニュアンスも。味わいは穏やかな旨味とほのかな甘み、少しだけアルコールの温かさが残り、余韻は中くらい。気軽に楽しめる一本。 The twin of the one I tasted yesterday. Opened it on a chilly evening. Light fruity and floral aroma with a touch of cooked rice. Soft rice umami and a hint of sweetness on the palate, a little alcohol warmth, and a medium finish. Gentle and easy to enjoy.

最近ぐっと冷えてきて、夜は温かい部屋でゆっくり飲むのが気持ちいい季節になりました。 今日は花や香〈本醸造〉を試飲。炊いたお米の素直な香りに、少しだけ花のニュアンス。口に含むとややアルコ - ル感が立ちますが、優しい旨味とぶどう・メロンのような果実味がふっと広がります。余韻は短め。気取らない、素朴な一杯でした。 （今は海外ドラマを見直しながら、秋の夜をのんびり楽しんでいます。） It’s getting colder these days, perfect for a quiet drink at home. Tried the Hanayaka Honjozo: clean cooked-rice aroma, a hint of florals, a touch of alcohol on the palate. Soft umami with small notes of grape and melon. Short finish - simple, honest sake.

最後の内蔵純米大吟醸しぼりたて生原酒は、 華やかでフレッシュ、パイナップルやマスクメロンを思わせる香り。 厚みのある旨味と明るい酸が合わさり、思わず「maravilha」と言いたくなる一杯。 The last sake, Uchigura Junmai Daiginjo Shiboritate Nama Genshu, was fresh and vibrant, with pineapple and muskmelon notes. Rich umami and bright acidity — a glass that made me say “maravilha.”

二杯目の笠置屋大吟醸は、香りがすっと開き、 青りんごや洋梨に加えて、メロンのような柔らかい甘味も。きれいな酸が広がり、バランスよく楽しめる大吟醸でした。 The second sake, Kasagiya Yamada-Nishiki Daiginjo, opened with gentle aromas of green apple and pear, plus a soft melon-like sweetness. Clean acidity and a very balanced, pleasant profile.

今日は伏見の月桂冠ミュージアムを訪れました。外では紅葉が少し始まり、静かな雰囲気。 試飲室で最初にいただいたのは山田錦の特別純米。炊いたお米の旨味がしっかりしており、 アルコール感もややありつつ、落ち着いた一本でした。 Visited the Gekkeikan museum in Fushimi today. Outside, the first autumn colours were appearing. In the tasting room, the first sake was the Yamada Nishiki Tokubetsu Junmai: solid steamed-rice umami, a touch of alcohol, overall calm and straightforward.

落ち着いた香りで、口当たりはなめらか。控えめな果実味と穏やかな旨味が上品にまとまり、後味は短め。店は静かで控えめだが、その素朴さがかえって心に残る雰囲気をつくっている。 Gentle aroma and a smooth, balanced palate. Subtle fruit and soft umami with a short, refined finish. The bar is quiet and unassuming, and that simplicity itself creates a memorable atmosphere.

香りは控えめで、すっきりとした辛口。淡い黄金色と穏やかな生酒のニュアンスが心地よい。店主が落ち着いた調子で丁寧に説明してくれ、日本酒の魅力を自然に引き出してくれるような体験だった。 Subtle nose, clean and dry profile, with a soft straw-yellow hue and gentle nama character. The owner’s calm, thoughtful explanations added depth to the tasting and made the sake’s character stand out naturally.

ようやく寒くなってきたけど、今日はあえてスパークリング。 穏やかな香りとやさしい泡立ち。少しの苦味とお米の旨味が残る、短くて爽やかな余韻。 It’s finally getting cold, but I went for a sparkling sake anyway. Soft aroma, gentle bubbles, a hint of bitterness and rice umami with a short, refreshing finish.

週末の夜、軽く一杯。やや高めのアルコールを感じるが、刺激はなくまろやか。炊いた米の旨味の奥に、メロンや白ぶどうのような控えめな果実感。ややとろみのある口当たり。 A quiet drink on a weekend evening. Noticeable alcohol but smooth and gentle. Cooked rice umami with delicate notes of melon and white grape, and a softly viscous texture.

Umami-driven palate with gentle cereal notes and restrained fruit. Light-bodied and smooth, with a clean, dry finish.
