Timeline

flos_lingua_estI don't drink this brand very often, though, as well as Kangiku. I guess it's because I am a natural born evil person and they sell out so fast. I found it still on the shelf in April at a liquor store that probably had a tremendous amount in stock, so I made my NEW BORN debut, even though it's too late.
I don't know why, but it was very similar to Amami on the first day! I guess it's because of the good flavor of koji. I love this kind of thing!
The banana aroma and the strength typical of nama-shu...you would think it is a powerful and strong sake, but I have the impression that it is well-balanced among nama-shu, or more coherent than I imagined.
The first mouthful is very fresh and clear, but the flow of the taste is easy to understand: gentle sweetness, acidity, and umami, followed by another strong sweetness, and then a slight bitterness that disappears. I am not sure if this strong sweetness is lost by other flavors on the way, or if it really appeared at the right time, but it is delicious anyway.
Considering it is a new junmai sake, it is tremendously easy to drink. I prefer it to SNOW EXTRA.
flos_lingua_estNigori Ekiden, Section 8
At the beginning of last year, I visited a store for the first time, and a customer asked me "Do you have Kappa's nigori draft? I remember a customer raving about the third bottle this year, and when I visited at the end of the year, this year's version had just arrived!
I remember a customer raving about it, and when I visited the store at the end of the year, I found that this year's version had just arrived! I really like it," said the proprietress, and expectations were high. After all, this is my first Yonetsuru!
I tried it cold in a tin, cold in a wine glass, and lukewarm in an oinokuchi.
The tin was refreshingly cold, with a spiciness but soft on the palate. But the umami flavor is still there and somewhat fruity. It is a Sawaya-Matsumoto type of sake, too good as a food sake!
In a glass of wine - chilled, it has a faint melon-like standing aroma. The aroma is not very strong to begin with, so you can enjoy it as a subtle accent.
Inokuchi - Lukewarm sake has a slightly alcoholic taste. This one has a melon-like aroma.
There is no nigori on the label, but everyone calls it nigori, which is fine, right? ...It was an impressive gem that could be called new in the section!

flos_lingua_estI have not had Kameizumi cel-24 since I drank it at a restaurant this year, and I had the impression that it was very fruity and juicy! At the time, I had the impression that it was as good as Jyushiyo. Surprisingly, it was the first time I bought it for drinking at home.
From the aroma, it has a crazy pineapple fruity aroma! My immediate impression after drinking it was, "It's almost like a Hana-yoku or a Jyushiro, lol."
The taste itself was surprisingly refreshing, and the sweetness was more subdued than I expected. Personally, I would have been happier if they had gone all the way to sweetness. I think there are individual differences, and I think there are differences from year to year, so I might buy it again if I see it again.
However, because of the low sweetness, it was less sluggish than I expected and I did not get bored with it, so I was able to keep drinking it for a long time, which is unusual for me. This may be the reason why the taste did not deteriorate as the days went by.
It is, after all, a highly satisfying standard product! I have a feeling I'll be ordering it again in the future whenever I see it out and about. ジェイ&ノビィHello flos_lingua_est 😃!
