This is my favorite local sake from Uonuma. I bought it by the package at first.
It is a slightly dry sake with a good flavor. It goes well with lentil chicken.
When I was in Ishikawa the other day, I visited a sake brewery and bought some, then went home and drank it with my family.
I tasted it and bought it, but again, it is delicious. It has a delicious flavor, but it's refreshing and easy to drink. The four-pack bottle was empty in no time. Azalea is the Japanese translation of the Noto Kirishimatsutsuji flower, and it was a wonderful sake that was just as gorgeous and refreshing as that flower. Sogen is the best.
I had a bottle of Drunken Whale Special Junmai Sake with grilled chicken wings (zubora).
I'd seen it listed as a recommended sake on the internet, but I was surprised to find it on sale at the supermarket, even though it's a local sake from Kochi, so I bought it straight away.
It's a light, refreshing sake with just the right amount of acidity, and like the sake, it goes well with snacks. The price is relatively reasonable, and I think it's good for the cost.
Compared to the Organic Naturals, it had a strong sourness and a fruity sweetness with no miscellaneous flavors. I can't believe it's made of only rice, water and koji... I'll definitely repeat it.
I bought this series on my way home from Joetsu Snowboarding.
I chose this sake for its Instagram-worthy label (lol), and it has a strong flavor and a fruity aroma. I want to drink it again.
I asked an uncle at the Mekada Sake Shop, "I like the sweet Junmai! Do you have a recommendation? He recommended this one to me. Even though it is an unpasteurized sake, it is very easy to drink and has a full mellow aroma. Like Senkou, this is the kind of sake that convinced me that I like so-called "mellow and full" sake.
I decided to make a trip to Tochigi alone and bought it at the Mekada Sake Shop in Utsunomiya.
As others have said, it's a wonderful sake with a fruity aroma and sourness that makes it hard to believe it's sake, and it's addictive.
We had Junmai-shu, which was given to us by an acquaintance, with salted liver. It was a delicious sake with a slightly sour taste, full but sharp. This is the sake that made me fall in love with sake, so I want to spread the word.
It has the crisp aroma of honjozo, of course, but it also has a gentle sweetness. I bought it on the way home from a snowboarding trip to Joetsu, and enjoyed it at home while soaking up the afterglow.
