This is my first time drinking Echigo-zakura, and it is well-balanced, has the flavor of rice in a daiginjo, but also has some miscellaneous flavors, is easy to drink, and has a perfect aftertaste, so I completely overdrank it!
Overall, this is one of those sakes that you can tell is from Niigata.
It went great with squid.
