We stopped by a small sake brewery, Yoro Shuzo, in Yamanashi, and experienced firsthand how the master brewer and his wife, who runs the brewery café, put their heart and soul into raising their sake. ☺️
The sake is only available here 🍶 and I cherish it 🥹.
The aroma is rough, but on the palate it's not sweet muscat or lychee...it has a dynamic finish that is rare for sake these days. It also has a nice sharpness 👍It's a food sake that goes well with any meal👌.
Today's entrée was firefly squid🦑 stir-fried with butter and sausage, which was initially planned to be a craft beer🍺, so it was a bit awkward, but it held together well.
I'm looking forward to changing the flavor tomorrow 😀.
Driving to Yamanashi Prefecture
We went to the Yoro Sake Brewery, which we were a little curious about.
I really wanted to have a meal, but I didn't have time, so I went to a café.
I had a sake-based parfait 🍶.
It was very alcoholic at the first sip!
But as it went on, it mellowed out.
I've been drinking a lot of sweet sake lately, so dry sake is a new experience for me!
From the website
There is no sweetness, just a hint of sourness, and a lightness that is made to look like a strong alcoholic drink. It leaves a tingling sensation on the tongue like the spiciness of grated daikon radish, but the acidity is not that much. There is a slight astringency that comes to both ends of the tongue, but it is a bit gentle.
At the brewery cafe.

You've had a great time 🍀!
Rika.
All the dishes made with sake lees were delicious, and the sake tasting set was great too, with 5 different drinks for the price 😆✨.
Thank you for your comment😌.
The sake we bought yesterday in Yamanashi.
This is the standard sake of this brewery. The brewed sake is not bad.
Dry. Light and refreshing. Refreshing.
It has an alcoholic taste, but it is rather pleasant. The cost is also good. Is the brewed version more suitable for sipping?
It goes well.
