Yonehara Station used to be one of the oldest established eki-no-Soba restaurants, but they withdrew from the station. They are now serving soba at their head office near the station.

Shiga Prefecture from Kitajima Sake Brewery. Mochi, shiratama, honey, butter.
Full and mellow aroma. Yellow in appearance, medium-bodied, white wine-like in color. Sweet mouthfeel like honey. Gradually becomes dry with concentrated rice flavor. As the day goes on, it becomes mellower and milder. It is a classic, both sweet and dry tasting one.
