Drinking and eating at Ise Jingu Shrine for the second time this year. We had a sake brewery in the gate town of Ise Jingu Shrine for a drink comparison. We started with a freshly squeezed raw sake, which we have had before. You can feel the fruity and freshness of the sake, but you can also feel the sharpness of the sake. 🙆‍♂️ The Shiboritate Nama is sold only at the sake brewery.

Day Trip to Ise Drinking Series (2) A cup of sake with a freshness and a hint of sourness unique to nama sake. I have been to Ise several times, but I never knew there was a sake brewery in Okage Yokocho😳. Another place I must stop by when I visit Ise 🍶.

Souvenir sake. This nigori sake is easy to drink, with no unpleasant taste or bitterness. However, nigorizake is currently in the midst of a boom, and leading sake breweries are releasing more and more sake, and the level of nigorizake is rising. According to the pamphlet, nigori sake is targeted at women and people who are not good at drinking, but if that is the case, I think it would be better to make it a little lighter in both strength and mouthfeel. Mixing it with tomato juice or grape juice and soda water was also good. Nigori sake can be enjoyed like a cocktail.

They won a trophy at IWC. Paid tasting at the brewery during a visit to Ise Jingu Shrine. However, I didn't really feel the goodness of the wine because it was kept at room temperature. I would like to believe that the original goodness would have come out if it was chilled.
