A winter-only, unpasteurized sake from the "Sendai Masamune" series. Tasted at Aobatei's vending machine at Sendai Station. It is gorgeous and fruity. It has a refreshing, not-too-sweet, sweet and sour taste. The heat of the alcohol spreads to the back of the throat.

I didn't know Sasanishiki ver was available at Sendaeki Masamune... Sasanishiki rice has a crisp finish, just as you would expect from Sasanishiki rice. It leaves a little bit of the rice flavor to pass through the mouth and throat. When eaten with hoya (sea squirt), the unique sweetness and peculiar taste of hoya remains in the mouth, but this is washed away by the sake, leaving a pleasant aftertaste. Today, I am going to ride that...line, which is difficult for people in Kansai to ride. I can't wait to see how many more times I can drink sake!

Since I was in Sendai, I was able to find this sake at the right time! Compared to the Sozora Origarami, this one is light and dry. You can enjoy both in good balance! Skepticism Miyagi Prefecture will celebrate its 150th anniversary in February 2022. To commemorate this occasion, we have created a special sake that expresses the terroir of Miyagi by blending Yamada Nishiki Junmai Daiginjo sake with beautiful soft water drawn from the foot of Sendai Izumigatake, Junmai Ginjo sake with Hitomebore, and Junmai Ginjo sake with Sasanishiki. I bought this sake at Sendai station on my way home from a business trip. According to the label, it is a genuine Sendai-born sake, planned by JR East Tohoku and made by a brewery in Sendai using rice from JA Sendai. I wondered how it would be like, but it's a little heavy and tasty sake. It is delicious. It also has a bit of acidity and is a well-balanced sake. You can buy it easily at Sendai Station, so we highly recommend it.
