Eclectic Sake Series ~2nd Drink~! At last, I drank it at home. Gin-Sen Ginjo! I've been a fan of Asahi Taka for a while now, but even when I finally get my hands on a bottle of Jyushiyo, I can't help but think of it as a sake for the people at work. However, the Corona disaster has robbed me of even that opportunity, and on top of that, this Gin-Sen Ginjo is a 4-pack bottle designed for home drinking. So I let it sit for a bit, but I'll take this opportunity to enjoy it to my heart's content! Now, when I try it... Wow, what a crispy Jyushiro! It still has the depth that only Takagi Shuzo can provide, but it's able to cut right through without leaving too much of an aftertaste! Hmmm... I see, this is a unique flavor among the Jyushiyos. The backbone of the sake is very "Takagi Shuzo", but this sharpness... well, it's a summer sake, isn't it? I'd like to try it outdoors in the sweaty season! This Gin-Sen-Ginjo may be a little easier to find than some of the other popular Jyushiyos, but it's definitely luxurious enough to drink at home. I'd love to see it again this summer, just in a four-pack, so I'll be on the lookout for it!

I drank it... series - the first drink... Mmm. This is the first experience! The sake is made in Kagoshima prefecture. Above all, is it the brewer of Tominohozan? As a shochu lover, we have a strong image of it. They have started to make wine besides the shochu, and finally they came to the sake area! But we want to drink it without preconception. We have Jyusyudai in our mind, but we wondered if it's the line of Hanamura or Gakki Masamune... I took a sip. Pineapple with no fizz. That was my first impression! But after that, it has a nice bitterness. There was a person who said, "How is it with food? There were some people who said that, but this one is not fancy. The sweetness of the sake and the bitterness are the same, and although it can't be denied that it has a trendy "sweet" feeling, I thought it could be used as a food sake. But we think it is good as a food sake. We wonder if it can be a "local sake" in Kagoshima where many taste sweet. But we don't think it is unnecessary. But we think it is unnecessary. It is the first year of brewing, and we think some people will like it. It may not be suitable for heating up, though. That's none of your business, is it?

Local Sake Series - The First Drink 'I've been to all the oceans in the world... but nothing can surpass sake made from water that soaks your skin. It's the sake of my homeland, drink it! These are the golden words of the famous red-haired Shanks. (I haven't crossed the sea...) Yes, I've spent more time in Tokyo than anywhere else, but when it comes to my hometown... Ibaraki Prefecture! I'm often told that it lacks charm, so I've been saying for the past 10 years, "Personally, it's like the 24th ward of Tokyo," but it hasn't stuck at all. Not even in my family. So why not just have a good drink? So, I'd like to start promoting it little by little. The first drink is this brand that I've been seeing a lot lately, "Morishima"! Let's start with a cold one! The first touch is a little sweet, but it cuts right through without leaving any lingering aftertaste. It has both the sweetness and sharpness that are in vogue, so it will go well with a variety of dishes. When I warmed it up...mmmm...the acidity comes out even more, and it's spasmodic and sharp! Hmmm... "plainly delicious" Ibaraki taste! It doesn't have to be flashy, it's just down-to-earth deliciousness! It's good!

Eclectic Sake Series ~1st Drink~! Looking back, I was a Junmai supremacist for a long time. Even in the middle of summer, I was a fan of heated sake, and even after discovering the deliciousness of Gunma Izumi, I still muttered to myself like Juliet, "Ugh, why do you have to have honjozo? ...I fell. What is this, it's too good! It's good cold, it's good warm, and it's even better at room temperature! And somehow I can put down a cup to drink in about a little over a cup. And for some reason, I can put down my cup after only a little over a cup. But it ends in a very good mood. This didn't happen when I drank Jyushiro Honmaru before, or was it because I was too stressed? lol A fine sake here, a truly delicious sake! This is the sake that made me start to enjoy sake without judging it by its specifications. Next time I have the chance, I'd like to compare Honmaru and Asahi-Taka.

Home-matured Sake Series - Second Drink This is the sake we received from the Junmai Sake Fund some time ago. It's good warmed up in summer, but the real essence of Kamikame is this time of year when it's finally getting cold! When you take a sip, you may think it's rude not to warm it up. For some reason, it makes me want to straighten up a little bit when I drink it in a leisurely manner, which is a reflection of the previous president. (I've never met you, but I got an awesome aura from your photos and articles.) You can pair the meal with anything, but personally, I simply must have "miso soup". It's like drinking soy and rice broth, it's in the DNA of the Japanese! It is. I'm a big fan of sweet, fruity-smelling sake, which has long been a trend in the world of sake, but I hope that this kind of sake will awaken more sake fans in Japan. Even now, when I go to an izakaya (Japanese style pub) with my colleagues, I'm struck by the belief that "good sake should not be warmed".

Home-matured Sake Series - The First Drink Sougen's own matured sake. Sakaguchi Yukio Toji's whole body of sake! This is the first time. We used a corner of my parents' house as a "maturing brewery" and it was flooded, but the sake is safe! I'm so glad it was. The taste is rich because it has been aged, but it's a fine sake to begin with, so it's really a "straight" sake that has matured. It's perfect for warming up at night, perfect for drinking slowly and deliberately.
