Eclectic Sake Series ~2nd Drink~! At last, I drank it at home. Gin-Sen Ginjo! I've been a fan of Asahi Taka for a while now, but even when I finally get my hands on a bottle of Jyushiyo, I can't help but think of it as a sake for the people at work. However, the Corona disaster has robbed me of even that opportunity, and on top of that, this Gin-Sen Ginjo is a 4-pack bottle designed for home drinking. So I let it sit for a bit, but I'll take this opportunity to enjoy it to my heart's content! Now, when I try it... Wow, what a crispy Jyushiro! It still has the depth that only Takagi Shuzo can provide, but it's able to cut right through without leaving too much of an aftertaste! Hmmm... I see, this is a unique flavor among the Jyushiyos. The backbone of the sake is very "Takagi Shuzo", but this sharpness... well, it's a summer sake, isn't it? I'd like to try it outdoors in the sweaty season! This Gin-Sen-Ginjo may be a little easier to find than some of the other popular Jyushiyos, but it's definitely luxurious enough to drink at home. I'd love to see it again this summer, just in a four-pack, so I'll be on the lookout for it!
