Home-matured Sake Series - Second Drink
This is the sake we received from the Junmai Sake Fund some time ago.
It's good warmed up in summer, but the real essence of Kamikame is this time of year when it's finally getting cold!
When you take a sip, you may think it's rude not to warm it up. For some reason, it makes me want to straighten up a little bit when I drink it in a leisurely manner, which is a reflection of the previous president.
(I've never met you, but I got an awesome aura from your photos and articles.)
You can pair the meal with anything, but personally, I simply must have "miso soup". It's like drinking soy and rice broth, it's in the DNA of the Japanese! It is.
I'm a big fan of sweet, fruity-smelling sake, which has long been a trend in the world of sake, but I hope that this kind of sake will awaken more sake fans in Japan.
Even now, when I go to an izakaya (Japanese style pub) with my colleagues, I'm struck by the belief that "good sake should not be warmed".
