New Year's Day is a writing holiday😇But if you've been taking it easy, the year is completely over😅.
What? It's been a week already ⁉️ Surprise😳
So here's a report on J&N's last drink of the year 2025🤗.
We've been spending New Year's 🎍 separately at Jay and Nobby's respective parents' homes for a few years now 🥲 and it's become a tradition to bring two bottles of Tochigi Sake Sandesi to make a remote toast on New Year's Eve 😊.
The past two years it was Kirifuri, but this year we decided to try something different 😋, and the chosen one was definitely Nanamizu: ‼️
Although we are in the same Chiba prefecture, we made a remote toast at each of our parents' homes 🥂 Nanamizu had a mild acidity that was perfect for the New Year's Eve festive meal 😚.
Looking back, at the end of last year, my daughter went to England 🇬🇧 for a solo trip and I spent New Year's Eve abroad with him 😌 This year, on the contrary, is the first New Year's Eve in Japan for him 🇺🇸 🤗.
The next day, New Year's Day, Nobby brought his mother and brother to visit his father's place by car🚙‼️Jay's sister and daughter with him, so there were 8 of us and we had a lively time 🥳It was not a party because of the car 😅Cheers with sweets ☕and everyone snapped this picture📸.
My son was too busy to join the party, so we didn't have a full group 😢It was nice to take good photos from the new year 🥹.
