I had never seen this brand before, so I couldn't resist buying it. This is a sake brewery in Shunan City, Yamaguchi. There are about 1,400 sake breweries in Japan, so it's no wonder that there are breweries and brands that I don't know (there are more than 1,000 here). Even if I were to drink one brand every day for the rest of my life, it would take me almost 30 years (^_^;) It's simply impossible. This was an aside. The moment you put it in your mouth, the aroma is distinctive. I wonder what it is, is it the aroma of rice? In total, the aroma is fluffy, the taste is tangy, and the sweetness is warm. I think it's delicious.

It's an unrefined sake, so I thought the sweetness would be pronounced, but the taste is dry. The aftertaste has a slight sweetness to it. But it's refreshing and you don't get tired of drinking it, so you'll keep going for two or three glasses of sake. It doesn't get tired of drinking, so you can drink two or three glasses of sake at a time.

Despite the subdued ginjo aroma, the moment it touches your tongue, you get a powerful sweetness like a thick pineapple. The slight bitterness is pleasant, and it doesn't feel persistent as it goes down your throat. It's a gem that goes down more smoothly than the impression on the palate. (The picture is blurry.)

はっきりした黄色、甘くまろやかで酢酸のようなし刺激が、あるが好印象。味わいは、まろやかでどっしりした太さのあり、また、嫌みなえぐみが一切ない、偉大な普通酒。

純米大吟醸より、こちらの方がある意味美味しい、なぜかというと、料理を選ばなさそうなのと、婢近だから。

ラベルは昔のものらしく、醸造用アルコール表示になってるけど、裏面は純米とある。純米酒なのでしょう。この蔵にとってこのラベルには思い入れがあるのでしょう。

蔵に住み着いている酵母や麹のかほり、突出しないバランス、しっかり、かつ、しっとりしたボディ。この蔵は、純米酒ですでに完成しているような。下手に吟仕込みしなくても良さそう。

はっきりした薄い黄色、上立ち香は、甘く、ブドウ、梨、爽やかで鮮烈さ、味わいは、和三盆のような、軽やかでまろやかで、穏和な甘味、ざらつきは全くなく、強いて言えば、わずかな酸と刺激がさっぱりと、しかし、ちゃんとした骨格を与えている。中半は酸味と旨味がさらっと増して、でも、惜しげなくきれいに消えていく。後口はほんのり苦味。

ベースラインの純米と共通しているのは、アルコール感のあるコシというかボディ。伝統的なお酒をスタイリッシュにした感じは、純米と同じ傾向。田酒よりこちらかなあ。
