I went to Horyuji Temple. I didn't want to go to Horyu-ji because of the high admission fee, but suddenly there was a guy who started collecting red seals, so I had no choice but to go with him. I always think Nara is a wonderful place. It is still the ancient capital of Japan with its beautiful scenery. But I heard that the price of Horyuji temple will be raised even more, which is disgusting! We went to Hatsushigure no Ota Sake Brewery in the neighborhood! The architecture is soooo ugly! We bought a 4-goule bottle of sake to go around Horyu-ji Temple. When I asked how much they charge, they generously priced all but one bottle at 1,600 yen! However, I thought it was a little expensive for 1600 yen for a bottle of sake that was regular sake! If you buy sake, you run out of money, just like Horyuji. The sake was to my liking. Brewed by Osaka's Isaka Sake Brewery. I thought it was similar to Danjiri, the original sake from this brewery, but with a little more alcohol. My brother caught a delicious fish called "shibudai" and we ate it with this, but the sake was too strong! Even the pickled plums he brought as a souvenir died! Cooked food is good!

Hello. I'm sure people will say, "What are you doing at Horyuji Temple if you pay 2,000 yen to see Buddhist statues and buy sake? It's not too strong, but not too rough even when heated. The aroma is a bit old-fashioned. I think it's not for everyone.

Good evening, Shinjo-san 🦉. I'm laughing too at "buy sake" 🤣 and the shiso plum pickle cup is cute. ❣️ Why 🐼? I was surprised when I saw your comment about the 2,000 yen entrance fee to Horyu-ji? 😱😱.

Good evening. I wish I could compose a more elegant phrase. The plums are from Wakayama. I'm glad it's an unexpectedly authentic sour one. Horyu-ji Temple is 1500 yen for admission. This time there is a special exhibition and it costs another 500 yen...

Opened June 21, 2022 Nara, Ota Shuzo Purchased after tasting at the brewery. Old-fashioned sake❗️The brewery says it is dry, but it is sweet enough. It's like Showa-era sake. Very smooth ^ ^ ^ However, this sake seems to go well with all kinds of meals! I like this kind of sake once in a while!

Nara Prefecture, Ikoma-gun. Ota Shuzo Co. Osaka Prefecture, Kishiwada City. Isaka Sake Brewery. Miwafuku Junmai-shu (Hatsujigure). Ingredients: Rice (domestic), Rice malt (domestic) Rice polishing ratio: 65%. Alcohol content: 16 to 17 degrees The Ota Shuzo Brewery is designated as a tangible cultural property near Horyuji Temple. I was curious, so I dropped by and bought a bottle of "Hatsujigure" (1,800 yen). We had it with cold sake. The aroma is like magic ink with a strong alcohol taste. It is a traditional sake. The texture on the tongue is soft. The aroma of rice goes through the nose, and there is a tingling sensation on the tongue, but at the end, the sourness from the rice disappears. This is the traditional feeling of sake. The front label is Hatsujigure, but the back label is Miwafuku. I didn't understand it at first, but when I looked it up on the internet, I found that Ota Shuzo is no longer brewing at the brewery. It seems that the brewery is being sold by Isaka Shuzojo in Kishiwada City. Isaka Shuzo's "Miwafuku Junmai" costs 1320 yen online, and Ota Shuzo's "Miwafuku Junmai (Hatsujigure)" label is 1800 yen...
