Honorifuji from Shizuoka Prefecture
Purchased at the Izu no Navel roadside station.
It has a fluffy rice sweetness, followed immediately by a sharp spiciness, and finishes with a numbing bitterness. I knew Shizuoka sake was dry and dry. I thought "Ekuofuji" was the name of sake, but it turned out to be the name of sake rice. No wonder there were so many Eirofuji.
Hakuin Masamune Nakaimizu Yamadanishiki Junmai Sake
Daigo Kanazawa, the fifth one. The former president recommended the next sake, which he had never had before.
It was a sake from Numazu. Rice and brewery from eastern Shizuoka. I lived in Numazu on a job transfer and I miss it.
The light blue color with goldfish, fireworks, sunflowers, and wind chimes is cool, and the fluent white font further expresses the sense of sake.
I imagined it would have a greenish smell because of the name "Numazu, Shizuoka," but it was crisp or smooth? But it was crisp or smooth? I was expecting it to have a greenish taste, but it was crisp and smooth.
It is a Junmai Ginjo and much more fruity! I guess it has a strong taste of rice. I drank it for the first time. It is delicious! The picture seems to be a limited label for wholesale.
Purchased as a souvenir at Shizuoka Station during a business trip to Shizuoka.
I was attracted by the illustration and bought it completely by the packet. It is Hakuin Masamune, a local sake from Numazu.
The illustration may be that of Hakuin Zenji, from whom the brand name is derived.
This sake was recommended to me at a sake shop I stopped by when I visited Numazu. As the description says, it is a refreshing sake without any peculiarities and does not fight with the food. I guess it tastes like it's made in a fish market. It is delicious.
*At room temperature
None of the fancy aromas. Taste and acidity.
There is no particular merit other than "the taste that I never get tired of drinking," but I can keep drinking it because I never get tired of drinking it.
I would like to drink it in a bottle like a No. 4 bottle, not in a single cup.
I bought some horse sashimi in Gotemba and a bottle of Shizuoka sake to go with it.
Spring season limited edition
I have a weakness for limited editions😅.
I was also attracted by the cherry blossom label, so I bought it.
I found it to have a clean, light taste.
It might have been more suitable for lighter dishes.
