Clear and colorless, strong viscosity (alc15)
Slightly subdued fruity koji aroma.
The first impression of a slightly smooth first taste is characterized by a mild mouthfeel, sweetness, and a calm acidity. The lingering taste is slightly long and has a strong rice flavor.
Sake given to me by a junior colleague in Niigata. It was a little hard to drink on its own? So I put a side dish I bought at Lawson's in my mouth, and then took the sake... and it became round in the mouth and very easy to drink! It's delicious! This is good. I thought it was a sake to enjoy the combination of other tastes rather than just the flavor of the sake. I served it with salted squid.
8/10. Light and crisp mouthfeel; a bright flavor either good depth; a bit of heat on the finish but clean. All in all an excellent offering for my palate.

Koshihikari⁇I had some concerns, but contrary to my expectations, it was quite highly rated and delicious.
Since this sake was drunk before April 2017, when I started using the app to record the label image and the date I drank it, I have uniformly set the date I drank it as 2017/04/01 for a while.
300ml. Impressive marketing, with the unique bottle, label, and cloth on top of the cap. Label is a bit too "busy" for my tastes, and totally eschews the traditional labeling format used in Japan (not always a bad thing for foreign markets, but a bit much here).
Inside we find a very tasty JDG, light-bodied with notes of pear and melon. A bit expensive to drink on the regular (this 300ml was $20.99), but a delicious treat on occasion.
720 ml. Like the bottle. The text on the label is a bit scattered, but it works OK (although tough to find the information usually found easily on more traditional designs). Taste is pretty decent, although with a bit of alcohol on the back-end (despite the relatively mild 14% ABV).
