"Super Limited Edition"? Buy the label without thinking
I'm not very good at judging color, but I think it's a little shiny. The sensation through the nose is not flashy, but it is pleasantly refreshing. We start with a sense of anticipation, wondering what kind of sake this is. In the mouth, it is well-balanced and has no peculiarities in a good sense. Even so, the flavor of the sake spreads in the mouth, which is as expected of Iinuma Meijo. It goes down the throat as smooth as you would expect. The aftertaste may not be as long as you expect, but it is an interesting bottle.
We took the plunge and paired it with Parmegiano Reggiano 36 months, and it is a wonderful marriage. It's a moment of admiration for the perfection of sake that allows such discoveries to be made.
