This sake was given to me as a gift, but it is a perfect ginjo for sipping.
It is refreshing and a little spicy. Well balanced and goes well with food.
This is totally a label buy, not a jacket buy. The naming is great, too.
It was easy to drink, and I finished it in no time at all. It is a Daiginjo made from Yamada Nishiki, and is a little sweet.
It goes well with sashimi, simmered dishes, and any Japanese food.
The aroma is fruity, reminiscent of white wine, but the taste is unmistakably sake, not sweet, but clean and refreshing. This is a blissful experience that makes me want to jump for joy.
Drinking it in a wine glass will further enhance the aroma and flavor.
Omachi, Daiginjo.
I was told that the taste will change with time, but it was too good to drink in one day, which was a shame.
A gorgeous and refreshing drink suitable for the New Year. It is fragrant, but it does not interfere with the food, sliding down the throat like water.
It's the kind of sake that makes you want to bow your head and give thanks for being able to enjoy such delicious sake from the New Year.
