Yesterday was Nobby's birthday 🎂
Since it was a weekday, we kept it light.
As I knew that Tochigi sake is the best drink to celebrate such a milestone, I made a toast with this that I had left in the fridge 🥂.
It's a sparkling wine with a cute label from "Sanbana", a local brand of Sonoike Sake Brewery, which brews Nozomu brand.
The white malted rice produces a lot of citric acid, so you can taste the refreshing sourness like lemon and the sweetness of rice.
A sparkling wine goes well with an anniversary, doesn't it?
Yes! It's finely carbonated🫧.
It definitely has a lemon🍋feeling and this is a swishy blink ❗️.
I thought 😓 but as I drank more, the sweetness started to prevail and I was able to mesh both sour and sweet 😏 It's a little too sweet for us....
I drank 80% of it, but I wanted to drink something different 😆.
Don't worry. We just finished the rest 😊.
