The 25th Hankyu Brewery Festival [2nd half] (1)
Sawa Masamune's booth.
This is the second time this year's Kuramoto Festival, as for some reason the breweries opening stalls change during the first half and second half of the festival period.
I was most interested in this one.
I asked bouken-san to scout it out in advance and received some information.
It seemed that no kurabito (brewer) had come to this one, so a mannequin was on hand to help us.
The lineup was only Junmai Daiginjo and Daiginjo class, but they also brought Shochu and Umeshu (plum wine).
Junmai Daiginjo Yuki Megami
A rather aromatic, clear, and clean sake with a rather refreshing taste.
Junmai Daiginjo Benihanaya Jubei Yuki Meishin
The sweeter flavor and a bit of bitterness on the palate. This is the sake that won platinum in the KuraMastar this year.
Benihanaya Jubei ◉ Daiginjo
A royal Daiginjo made with Yamadanishiki and polished to 35%. It has a clear, mineral flavor and sweetness for a Yamadanishiki.
I didn't get a picture of it out of the blue...
As bouken's previous information, the overall taste was more light. I think the price is low for a polished sake.

On the Saturday I went there, there was a woman wearing a happi coat of Sawa Masamune, and I asked her about the distributor, so I thought she was from the brewery, but I guess I was wrong 🤔.

The 25th Hankyu Brewery Festival ①.
This is the first time in about a year since I didn't go to the last one in the spring.
The venue was changed to the same festival plaza as the traveling SAKE event, and the former venue was turned into a high-brand watch shop💦.
Rolex was lined up like a ramen shop with a long line 🤣.
The first brewery I visited was the Furusawa Sake Brewery, which was participating in the Sake Brewery Festival for the first time!
A sake brewery that was a complete first for me!
Junmai Daiginjo Yuki Megami 48
Clear, light and clean taste

The rice is Dewa Tsanzan.
This one is sweeter. It is also a little refreshing.
Benihana-ya Juubei Daiginjo
Yamadanishiki rice polished to 35%.
Slightly darker and sweeter than the previous two
Relatively reasonable considering the specs 🤔.
I have the impression that the taste of Sawa Masamune goes up as the price goes up.

Sawa Masamune Namaeshu (Sake before the tank)
New sake purchased during a brewery tour at the Furusawa Sake Brewery in Sagae City.
It has a freshness of new sake, a drinkability of 19 degrees Celsius, and a rich and thick taste, with a modest slightly cloudy gaseous taste.
It was also priced at a high CP of 1,300 yen 🙌.

I went to the antenna store 📡, a place of relaxation for Masamune hunters 💡, and found this 💡.
Sawa Masamune is also available around Yamagata Station, but this sake seemed like a serious sake, so I decided to buy it.
Above all, since it calls itself "Bida", I have my own expectations that it is as good as Ferrari🟥🐦🔥 from Tochigi 🤣.
The mouthfeel is mellow and creamy like a shake 😚.
This raises my expectations 🤩.
Slight sweetness and a slight astringency in the aftertaste. The sweetness is like a diluted banana sweetness ☺️
The sizzling sweetness spreads as you sip it and ends with a flash of bitterness.
After opening the bottle, it became a straight drinking experience that passed quickly within a couple of days😙.
Was it a real sake after all?
I would like to drink other Sawa Masamune to find out 💪.
