Cold sake.
I was impressed by its unique junmai rice flavor and dry taste.
It has a lingering aftertaste in the back of the throat, and I felt it was more suited for winter.
Nara Sake
Fruity and free of any cloying taste, with a slight sweetness but a clean aftertaste, it is a dangerous sake that can be drunk with ease 🍶😋.
Rice: 100% Gohyakumangoku
Polishing ratio 60
Alcohol content: 17 degrees Celsius
Sake degree -3.0
Acidity 1.4
<It's easy to get used to.
Start with a cold sake (5℃) and drink it slowly.
The color is slightly yellow.
The aroma is sweet and umami with a retro feel. There is a hint of subtlety, but it just barely holds its own and has a nice peculiarity. I don't hate it.
The mouthfeel is like smooth water. After that, there is a slight light sweetness, and towards the end, the umami and umami aromatic notes spread out. This is pleasant. The aftertaste is a little gummy, but it doesn't bother me that much.
It is not a high class taste. But it is not disgusting and friendly. It's like a friendly old man in the neighborhood.
As the temperature rises to near room temperature, the taste expands overall. But the balance of the taste is not lost. My favorite is snow cold, but I could drink it well up to room temperature.
If I were to use a Ghibli analogy, I'd say it's Masayoshi from "Heisei Raccoon Gassen Ponpoko". He is the main character of the movie. He has a gentle and calm personality, and is friendly to humans.
Satisfaction level: ★★☆☆
