Second glass of sake at Omiya Izumiya Lunchtime Sake. Kanbei nigori sake (270 yen). It is moderately sweet, not fruity, but smooth and authentic nigorizake. Ham and eggs (350 yen) and stewed eggs (170 yen) with the second cup. Speaking of Kanbei, Kanbei Kuroda, Takataka, and Josui. This nigori sake is also subtitled "Kanbei," which means "the leader of the Tenka-takeri" in Japanese, Kanbei assisted Hideyoshi in his seizure of power, Or, did he plan to take over the country in the middle of Sekigahara? Or, perhaps, he was planning to take over the country during Sekigahara?

Hiraccio, I see you went to Izumiya, and the sake with ham and eggs is very tasty😅. I've been avoiding Izumiya because it's a bit smoky, but posts like this make me want to go, and I probably will 😅. 170 yen for a stew is the cheapest in the world ❗️

Mr. Harry, I saw the ham and eggs from the person next to me, and I ordered it too. It's like "Izumiya" to have two eggs with ham and eggs. The interior of the restaurant is smoky. The menu strips on the wall are smoked.

Lunch in Omiya on a weekday off. At Izumiya Honten, a landmark at the east exit of Omiya Station, which should be called a legacy of Showa-era bars established in 1947. I started with the famous stew (170 yen) and a large bottle of Sapporo Lager Akahoshi ⭐️. As a long-established bar, they don't carry trendy sake, and there was a possibility that even the brand name was unknown, but it was a new sake, freshly squeezed from the Meijo Sake Brewery. Bouken had already registered the brand name with ❗️, so I used "Meijo" to make it easier to search. It is a standard sake from Hyogo with a standard sake-like flavor that is suitable for this famous sake bar in Saitama. It also has a hint of sweetness and is very drinkable.

Hi Hiraccio 😃 Some products have Meijo on the label but I didn't find it when I searched 😅. Meijo Sake Brewery seems to be the largest producer in Himeji😊.

Good evening, bouken😊. Thank you very much for registering your great castle: ❗️ This store also had Kanbei nigori sake. It is the largest production in Himeji, isn't it?

Weekday off, lunchtime drinking in Omiya. Izumiya, a landmark at the east exit of Omiya Station, was established in 1947 and is the main store of Izumiya, which can be called a legacy of a popular bar. It has been a long time since I was here, but it is still a popular bar with a wonderful Showa-era atmosphere. The waitresses are all veterans, and the service is very stable. The clientele is so young that I might be the youngest. Veteran drinkers are enjoying themselves in a relaxed atmosphere from noon. We started with the famous stew (170 yen!) and a large bottle of Sapporo Akaboshi. and a large bottle of Sapporo Akaboshi. Forget about the daily work and enjoy the atmosphere and sake. You will be healed. I ordered a 300ml bottle of Izumiya's original cold sake. I have been to Izumiya more than 10 times, but this is the first time I have had this cold sake bottle. There is a bicycle race track in Omiya, and although the contents of the sake are the same, there are labels such as "Daihonmei," "Dai Ana," "Maki Ippatsu," and "Saki Maki" on the bottle. This sake was made by Otaki Sake Brewery of Kujyu-zakura. It was refreshing, acidic, and sake-like, matching this bar in a good way. Modern or fruity sake is not suitable for a popular bar. Standard sake fits well. Fried squid, cold tomatoes, and fried eggs as snacks.

Hiraccio, good evening 😁. I haven't been to Izumiya recently, I haven't been to Izumiya recently, but now I want to go there. It's a bit smoky, but the atmosphere is great. I like the fact that they have a jar of nameko mushrooms with shichimi (seven spices) in it 😅. It's a little bit scary 😅.

Good evening. Is this Izumiya? Certainly my favorite! I'm completely fascinated by kujyu-zakura, so I'm definitely going to drink a big bowl of it when I'm done with my new cologne!

Good morning, Harry 😊. It had been almost 2 years since I was there. I love the smoked and colored look of the restaurant walls and the product literature. Yes, the fungus jar with a hole in the lid and shichimi (seven spices) in it is austere.

Good morning, Shinsho 😊. Omiya has good access to Kawagoe and the Hikawa shrine⛩, but the messy, chaotic atmosphere of the east exit is also a must-see. Try Izumiya, big hole, and have a drink.

On a weekday holiday, I went to Omiya station for lunch. We went to Izumiya, a landmark of the east exit of Omiya station. It's my favorite restaurant, and it's a great bar that Saitama Prefecture is proud of. Founded in 1947, it has a retro atmosphere as if time has stopped since the Showa era, and for some reason, it makes me feel very relaxed😌. The older ladies in the staff (with a sense of stability in their service!) The average age of the customers is over 60 years old. I think I'm the youngest in the shop. Most of the customers are solo. I heard it was featured in Wakako Sake, but I've never seen a young woman in this shop. The specialty is stewed motsunomi (170 yen!) and it's a masterpiece of perfection. It's delicious😊. The bottled beer is Sapporo Lager Akaboshi ⭐️. I ordered the Taki Masamune warmed, and as it's from the same brewery as Gifu's Shirazen, it has a certain quality that you can enjoy. The ham cutlet (300 yen) is also crispy and tasty and is a great entrée. What is it about this short but very heartfelt and fulfilling time? The bill was 1,270 yen. Thank you for the meal.
