Lunch in Omiya on a weekday off. At Izumiya Honten, a landmark at the east exit of Omiya Station, which should be called a legacy of Showa-era bars established in 1947. I started with the famous stew (170 yen) and a large bottle of Sapporo Lager Akahoshi ⭐️. As a long-established bar, they don't carry trendy sake, and there was a possibility that even the brand name was unknown, but it was a new sake, freshly squeezed from the Meijo Sake Brewery. Bouken had already registered the brand name with ❗️, so I used "Meijo" to make it easier to search. It is a standard sake from Hyogo with a standard sake-like flavor that is suitable for this famous sake bar in Saitama. It also has a hint of sweetness and is very drinkable.

Hi Hiraccio 😃 Some products have Meijo on the label but I didn't find it when I searched 😅. Meijo Sake Brewery seems to be the largest producer in Himeji😊.

Good evening, bouken😊. Thank you very much for registering your great castle: ❗️ This store also had Kanbei nigori sake. It is the largest production in Himeji, isn't it?
