A sake brewery I didn't know came to Takatsuki Hankyu, so I went for a tasting 😊. Fujii Sake Brewery in Usuki City, Oita Prefecture. They were selling both sake and shochu, so they had shochu on display. They were pushing a lot of amazake though 😁. I drank Ryubai Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki 50% polished rice It's a little floral, but not too much. Basically, it's a quiet sake, so I think it's suitable for a mealtime drink. The bottle was cool because it was so chunky! Ryubai Special Junmai Namaisake Ryubai Nigori Namaishu (Nigori raw sake) Ryubai Junmai sake The color is golden when poured, as it seems to be moderately filtered. It is a classic type of sake. It is recommended to be warmed up to lukewarm. I think it is not my favorite cold sake. I bought two types of nama sake, so I will review them later. I don't like nigori with added sugar, but I got a good impression of the sweetness, so I bought this one 😊.

Mitsutake is about 4 years old? I have the impression that it is more famous for its invitation to the magical world of shochu than sake. I bought it at Takatsuki Hankyu. Matsuzakaya's liquor department has become Seijo-Ishii, which is a little bit subtle, but I like Hankyu because it still maintains its department store character. Matsuzakaya used to be better because it had more local sake. It is written as "light nigori," but it is quite cloudy. It has a lactobacillus-like nuance, but the overall taste is clear. As the description says, it is silky and smooth. I don't think it is very Daiginjo-ish. I think it has more sweetness and acidity than when it was just opened. It's been 5 days and the yogurtiness is getting stronger.

Purchased at Takatsuki Hankyu. To be honest, they have a smaller selection of alcoholic beverages than Umeda Hankyu, but I think their lineup is more tasteful than Umeda. Umeda relies more on on-site sales. You can also buy Kuninonaga and Kiyotsuru at Takatsuki Hankyu. Grape and banana-like atmosphere. Not too sweet and spicy, but clear and beautiful. I wrote "clear," but considering it as a dry wine, I wonder if it is a mellow dry type. I said it was spicy, but there is a moderate amount of sweetness. It is a modest type of sake, but you can't go wrong with it.

The rice is called Yamaenishiki, a variety that was registered in 2017. It's pretty sweet in the mouth and the acidity is impressive. I think I might prefer it to Arabashiri.
