The second drink, or rather the second bottle, was Tedorigawa. This restaurant serves four bottles of sake, and two of us drink two bottles. One bottle is not enough, but two is quite a lot. Even so, the day went well. We took only one bite of the eel stew and took the rest home. My family was pleased. It was a usual New Year's scene.
The annual New Year's party to eat eel with old business partners. Kanda Kikukawa's Teigeki basement used to be our regular spot, but it has moved to the basement of the Shinbashi Daiichi Hotel. The atmosphere was a little more sophisticated, but the staff was the same as usual. The sake was the usual Tatenokawa. It started this year, too.
I had a drink with a close acquaintance at Eel, a recent New Year's tradition. The first bottle was at Tateno River, which I forgot to take a picture of, and the second was my first bottle of Kiminoi. We drank two bottles together.

The second one was in Ishikawa Prefecture. This is actually the first Tengumai. Slightly golden color and strong aroma. The taste is very strong. I enjoyed the traditional taste of sake.
