I got a rare "Golden Beetle" at a nice restaurant "Er Ima" in Kobe.
I wanted to drink more of it because of its refreshing sweetness and aftertaste...I wonder when we will meet again.
Despite the high alcohol content (16%), it has a very smooth texture and smooth mouthfeel. I wonder if it is the brewing alcohol that makes it so smooth.
Slightly sweet, with a moderate ginjo aroma, it was refreshing to drink.
I had it after dinner, and it had a slightly tart aroma that was soft and fluffy. It is definitely fruity and has a strong, deep flavor, perhaps because I was drinking it while looking at the red label that reads "apple yeast mother🍎".
The variety of sake available overseas is limited, but I got this one from Sakuraya, a long-established sake brewery in Singapore.
Fine, firm bubbles, refreshing sweetness, and a noble sparkling wine. The Christmas-like label is also cute. We received a half bottle at a sushi restaurant in Osaka City, but the bubbles were so firm that when the chef opened the bottle, about a glassful overflowed, which brought tears to my eyes 😅It was delicious.
