Sake from Shunan City, Yamaguchi Prefecture
Dry taste
The spiciness remains in the mouth for a long time.
I don't have the vocabulary to describe it well, but it is a "not flashy but solid" sake.
Ingredients: Rice (domestic), Rice Koji (domestic)
Alcohol 15.5
Polishing ratio 50%.
1,650 yen/720ml at Yume Town Kudamatsu
It's a monster of flavor.
It is clean and tasty with no cloying taste.
This sake is made by the same sake brewery as Hochotatsuru, which we drank before.
The flavor is different.
I wonder if they separate the Junmai for Hochozuru and the Brewing for Lord Mouri.
It is limited to Yamaguchi Prefecture, so if I go touring again, I will buy it.
Sake from Shunan City, Yamaguchi Prefecture
I guess sake breweries in Yamaguchi Prefecture are focusing on Ginjo sake.
This one doesn't interfere with the accompaniments, but it also has the assertiveness of Junmai-shu.
It's easy to drink and it's gone in no time!
Thank you for the food.
4/5. Effervescent initially. Semi dry. Fruity. Little rough and boozy in the finish. Would revise but better as a 2nd or 3rd bottle when getting my drink on.
