This is the first sake brewed in wooden vats I've ever had.
It's heated to the brim.
Slightly woody aroma.
Rich and mellow flavor that is typical of aged sake.
Sake with a relaxing effect.
Very delicious!
An extra sake after drinking all the Akizuka.
2021BY. yellowish color, woody aroma. Woody aroma, clean flavor that one would not expect from a 90% polished sake, and strong acidity from the sake yeast.
So I drank it from morning till night yesterday 😅.
It was cold today, so we had nabe (hot pot) and hot sake. My sister came to Tokyo with a bottle of sake recommended by an acquaintance. I tried various temperatures, but the unique aroma of the wooden vat was so strong that the hot sake was the easiest to drink and tasted the best.
Terada Honke Wooden Oke Brewing, Nama Hashiroshi
This is a brand that I encountered for the first time.
It is a greedy set of sake that requires a lot of time and effort from a modern perspective.
To be honest, I thought it would be for people who are more accustomed to drinking sake, but it seemed to come in rather easily.
I felt it was maroyaka and good to drink.
It is nicely aged and tasty.
However, it still has a strong flavor.
It would be great if you grilled a whole good shiitake mushroom and dipped it in salted rice oil.
