I was attracted by the word "kami" (God) and bought it without a second thought, but what a great match for sashimi. The crisp and dry taste of the pickled yellowtail accentuated the fishy smell, and the lingering aftertaste was quite nice.

It's good to taste the rich aroma of old sake hot, but it's also good to enjoy it cold to enjoy the aroma it contains. At first I thought it might be like Shaoxing wine, but it's not that harsh and has a mild taste. It went so well with the salmon and mackerel that it was empty in no time.
