Kamizen-nyosui Junmai-Ginjo
I've been familiar with this drink since I started drinking alcohol about 30 years ago. In those days, when there was a lot of sticky, cheap booze, that's exactly what I remember, drinking it like water, and it tasted so good!
I haven't found the name in a really long time and bought it. (It was on the fridge at a select store, I wonder if it's back in popularity?)
I knew it, yes, like water!
For better or worse, it tastes like water.
The aroma is light, and it disappears after a period of time after being poured.
When you inhale it through your nose, it has a faint ginjo aroma that is not assertive.
There is no aftertaste, just like water, but it's not the same.
After holding it in your mouth for a bit, a hint of sweetness comes in! But it goes away smoothly.
It is a safe drink and can be recommended to people who don't like sake.
I would enjoy it during a meal with a strong flavored meal.
