Lunch on last year's Christmas trip to Nagano. We had a small bottle at a soba restaurant near Zenkoji Temple. It was too dry and refreshing to go well with soba. Nagano's sake is a good choice for a mid-meal drink. The fried buckwheat noodles were also good.

The night of last year's Christmas trip to Nagano. Second drink. Not a strong impression, but all Nagano sake is good. Matched with local leeks grilled with magnolia leaves and horse sashimi.

Junmai Ginjo dry, red label. I ordered a bottle I liked on a trip to Fukushima. I forgot to take a picture of it, so I enjoyed it at a New Year's party with my relatives at my brother's house. It was sharp and dry, but easy to drink. I will buy some more for my home!

I bought this as a souvenir at Nagano station. I drank it at the beginning of New Year's Day.　It has a nice taste of rice, but it is refreshing and perfect for a mid-meal drink.
