Very dark yellow. Sherry, with a hint of Shaoxing wine. I thought it tasted like old sake, but when I looked at the date of manufacture, it was June '17, and it's been aged for 3 years. I got it as a congratulatory gift for passing the first round of the sommelier exam, but I wondered if it was testing my taste buds for the second round.

A sweet and sour aroma, followed by a nice smell of steamed rice. (For some reason, I'm sensitive to the aroma of steamed rice these days.) Nama sake. Strong taste! It's sweet enough, but with just enough acidity and strong alcohol to make it nice. It's perfect for a post-drinking, one-person after-party at home.

Junmai Hatan Nishiki - Hanging Natural Drip It has a cedar-like aroma. It is not sweet and has a moderate acidity. I think it's very well balanced. The aftertaste is crisp, and the lingering astringency is pleasant. It goes well before, during and after a meal. Recommended!

The faint smell of steamed rice Sweet and tender. If you don't like sweet, maybe not. Good after dinner. I came with this one without cooking. If I had a sense of gas, my impression would have been completely different.

It's hot again today in Gifu... Pale yellow with faint orange hues The aroma is sharp. Sour taste. refreshingly dry Strong acidity is impressive. For summer, just like today.
