If you ask a sake drinker what he or she would like to drink at that moment, he or she will probably say beer, obviously with a bias. I'm obviously biased. I think it's the elemental aspect, the slurping, but that's just one opinion.
I like the label. I like the design of the label, which somehow insists that this is how sake is supposed to be.
The color of the bottle and the taste make me think, "Oh, I'm not going to drink it. But it's the taste.
It tastes good, clearly, but does it bug your brain? It tastes like a misunderstanding. I drank it thinking it would be normal, spicy, and alcohol-heavy.
But my preconceived notions were wrong: it's fruity.
I don't know if I should compare it too much to a fruit, but it tastes like a grape.
There is not much left over for the alcohol content, and the way it goes down smoothly is the very thing that is in vogue now.
I don't dislike it. I like it. But that's why I wrote about my selfishness in the first glass, saying that this is not it.

I procured it when I was back home in Nagoya.
The staff from the brewery was at the Takashimaya store to sell their products. I could have tasted it, but I was a little disappointed because I had a car ride planned for that day. It was fruity, but had a clean aftertaste.
Tonight, we enjoyed it with cod roe and its offspring, which we also procured at a restaurant back home.

I bought it from an in-person sale at the end of the year.
It is a honjozo, but has a robust mouthfeel, fruity aroma and sweetness. It is round and easy to drink without any cloying taste.
It would go well with shellfish dishes, white sashimi, tempura, etc. Drink it in small sips.

This is a sake brewery that I purchased along with Yume-Sakura, which I mentioned earlier. This one is Yamadanishiki and Yume Sakura is Gohyakumangoku. I think this one is more refreshing. It is a beautiful sake. It seems to go well with all kinds of snacks. It is a good sake.
