bapIbaraki's Shirakiku has been on my mind lately.
Locally produced, locally consumed sake using prefectural Yamadanishiki and Ogawa yeast
Aroma: sweet melon, banana, lychee, muscat, cemedine
Light on the palate, with a powdery sweetness later on.
The aftertaste is slightly dry on the tongue with a watery sharpness.
You don't feel the alcohol content of 17.5 degrees Celsius
Fruity and dry
koge2Dry sake. A little alcohol on the nose. It has a slight sweetness and sourness. It is a well-balanced sake, and you will never get tired of drinking it slowly and slowly.
Japanese>English
koge2A number of people have mistakenly registered "Shirakiku" from Shirasugi Shuzo in Kyoto, "Daisen Shirakiku" from Shirakiku Shuzo in Okayama, "Okunotoshirakiku" from Shirafuji Shuzo in Ishikawa, and "Tosa Shirakiku" from Senkou Sake Brewery in Kochi. ......
BullwinkleNicely fruit forward, earth and potato, with a good balance of flavor and texture. My friend says "when you're planting tubers, the smell of the dirt and greenery." Rich and savory. A great drink.
andyOn the way back from a trip to Hokota, I stopped by the Shirakiku brand, Godo Company Hirose Shoten, and had some that was lined up in the refrigerator by the entrance, as if it was not on sale. I was expecting it to be sweet, but it was surprisingly sharp. It was a perfect evening drink that I found addictive.
あかにゃんPurchased at a supermarket in Tsuchiura, Ibaraki.
