Iwakuni City Tourism Exchange Center "Honke Matsugane" (4th cup) I'm not very familiar with Gobashi's sake. I've only had "ride?" 🛵 pink sparkling nigori. This is the first time I've had a Kanji label. I actually didn't know which one I was drinking since I wasn't offered a bottle 🤣. The menu says Junmai Ginjo but the picture is Junmai Daiginjo🙃. And it's a pain to ask😅. She said it was a slightly sweet and tasty sake😄 Gobashi-san is located right next to Ganki-san! Across the bridge on the other side Very close to the U.S. military base What I find interesting is that Gobashi-san also has an art museum 🏛😮. You can see it across the Kintai Bridge near the souvenir shop Photo. 2The view from Iwakuni Castle keep 3Murashige's biggest cedar ball in Japan 4Nishikigawa Seiryu Line Nishikimachi Station It takes about 5 minutes to Kinjaku on foot. There is a souvenir shop and Iwakuni Gozo sake is sold

Iwakuni City Tourism Exchange Center "Honke Matsugane" (3) Cup #3 Golden Chun Chun🐤 Junmai Daiginjo from Horie Sake Brewery All other sakes are 100 yen per glass. This one is only 300 yen! Sweet aroma like muscat with a refreshing taste! Kinjaku Hisho" is indeed a fantastic sake I think it's almost impossible to get. It's really a loss if you don't drink it 😆. I'm a driver who can't drink 😭 Too bad I couldn't sample it. But luckily I was able to drink some Yakult 1000 I found at Sunmart 😆😆. Horie bar is pretty far away. I remember it took us almost an hour to drive from Kintai Bridge to deep in the mountains!

superbebe, did you enjoy your trip to Iwakuni? Yamaguchi Prefecture is a relatively easy place to drive... (lol) Oh, Matsugane-san was able to taste "Tobisho", wasn't he? I didn't know that even though I recommended it to you.
Japanese>English
マコスケ
Kinjaku and Hisho cost about 13,000 yen per bottle. 300 yen for a tasting size bottle is cheap.... (lol). However, Josen is now 2000 yen! When I bought it some years ago, it was about 1800 yen.

If you go sightseeing at Kintai Bridge We recommend you to visit the Iwakuni City Tourist Exchange Center "Honke Matsugane" 🤗. You can sample local specialties and drink cheap sake from 5 breweries in Iwakuni. Prices range from 100 to 300 yen each. I chose 5 snacks 😋. Iwakuni Sushi Iwakuni lotus root with spicy sauce Sweet & Snack ayu fish Chestnut Uiro Wasabi shoyu-soaked wasabi The first cup is murajyu The brewery is just a short walk from Shin-Iwakuni station only a 2 minute walk! About 10 minutes from Kintai Bridge by car Mild aroma Slightly ripe Slightly sweet and full-bodied Slightly bitter aftertaste Refreshing acidity, yet light and easy to drink It is an aji-ginjo type suited for a mealtime drink 😀.

superbebe, I am glad to hear that you are having a safe trip to Iwakuni! This time, I couldn't make it to "Aki-agari" in time. I heard it will be available in October. I wonder if you were able to buy "Kami-Sen" at the supermarket.

Good evening, Mr. Manachy🎈. It sure is hard to see, isn't it? I saw a store in Hiroshima that sells them. Sake shop Yamada, Noboricho store. It's a 30,000 yen luxury Kinjaku 😮. I can't afford it🤣.

Oh, you bought "Josen"? Well, let me tell you how to drink it in the Japanese way. Put it in a kettle and heat it over an open flame to about 60-70 degrees Celsius. Put it in a teacup and toast with everyone. It's delicious!
Japanese>English

Good evening, Mr. Makoske! Is hot sake recommended? I'll try it next time! By the way, are josen and GOLD the same? I bought the one labeled GOLD at the supermarket!
Japanese>English
マコスケ
I think Kamisen and Gold are the same. The labels are the same. (laugh). I don't care to drink Tobisho or Daiginjo hot. But if it's Josen, I'm sure it's the same.

Hello, Mr. Makoske 🎈. When I was in Jakjido, I also saw a special honjozo named "Seiryu Nishikigawa". I regret now that I didn't buy it because the amount of sake I could bring back to Taiwan was limited 😥😥.

マコスケ
Superbebe, please come to Yamaguchi again next April. (lol) By that time, "Shiboritate" will be available. There is also a black mine.

Good evening, Mr. Makoske 🍦. Thank you 😊 The information is always helpful 🙇‍♂️ I didn't know that Kinjaku's freshly squeezed sake is shipped in April! I thought it was November or December 😆.

I thought it was November or December 😆. I'm seriously planning on going 😤. It should be in by the last week of April, right?
Japanese>English
マコスケ
superbebe, freshly squeezed sake will be available in the middle of March as usual. I think it would be difficult to get it in the last week of April. After all, you can't get Kinjaku........ (Holy shit!) If you really want to come to Japan, I will help you.
Japanese>English
superbebe
Good evening, Mr. Makoske 🌙 Really? Yay! It would be helpful if you could secure it for me😃. I'd love to go to Yamaguchi when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom to see the cherry blossoms! I'll see if I can get a cheap airline ticket.

And check the estimated date of the cherry blossoms 😆. I'll report back to you: 🙇‍♂️ Thank you.
